Kassandra Stavroula Levantinou
Inside Out” has been a great inspiration to me from the very first moment I got involved in it, as it does acomodate my aim to make contemporary art viewing accessible to everyone and share its positive energy with everyone. Especially when it comes to Cyprus, that all makes even more sense.
Kassandra was born in Athens, Greece. At the age of five she met legendary Alexandre Iolas, while holding her artsy grandma’s hand, and instantly decided to dedicate her life to Art. Since then, she kept attending contemporary art shows, studied Art History and worked with numerous established galleries and artists in Athens. For the last couple of years she’s been abroad most of the time, working on portrait photography shows for the New York Photo Festival and the China Lishui Photo Festival, as well as back home, Kassandra participated in the Inside Out Project| Athens Group Action “Inside Out: Eyes of Truth”.

I believe that the Inside Out can reconnect Cypriots with their centuries old thirst for true peace; that’s why I am part of it.
She believes in the magic of nature and myth; their power to bring peace to ourselves and the world. Her work evolves between poetry, printmaking and performing. Took part in various art exhibitions, performances and poetry readings in UK and Cyprus. Studied English Literature in UK and has been studying Printmaking for the last five summers. Learning to play Celtic ocarina. She sees today as the time to refine and rediscover our relationship to Earth, who we are and how we are with our fellow beings. By becoming aware our all our relations we experience the tremendous power of collective individuals. Together we can create a fair and peaceful world, evaporate the invisible walls and see our limitless potential.
